The Church of England is not dying – it is regenerating

This is a re-blog which I largely agree with.

Giles Fraser argued in the Graudain (normal spelling thereof) that there are too many churches. Many need to go BUT the decline is not irreversible.

Some years ago a 58 year old

on the church council of one of my churches said at a meeting he was always the youngest bar one.He was correct. But six months later I had great glee in saying that was no longer true as there was an influx of parents and children – partly due to Messy Church taking place in the local church school twice a term after school. This is still the case several years later. It is good to hear about that as I have moved on.
