Not a martyr for science.

The classic condemnation of the Reformer Calvin comes with the burning at the stake of Servetus.

This was for denying the Triinity but this reblog points out how it is claimed that he was a martyr for science. It is true he made some medical discovery but he was executed for heresy , and would have been by Catholics too.
