      It is taken from the head of Cwm Cneifion aka Nameless Cwm near the summit of Glyder Fawr in snowdonia. It is looking down Nant Francon toward Anglesey with Llyn Idwal in the foreground. When we were by Llyn Idal it was miserable and raining but we took a chance with the weather

I really enjoyed everything you’ve written, so much that I’m making a natural History Documentary in Snowdonia at the moment.     Hey. I’m preparing for a presentation at my YEC religious college. It’s a persuasive speech trying to get the other students to read and spread Biologos’s material. You mentioned here (https://www.premierchristianity.com/Blog/10-questions-to-ask-a-young-earth-creationist) that there are approximately 100,000 qualified geologists and only “20-30” that are young earth. I want to use this statistic but I can’t without fact checking it. How solid is the “20-30” estimate?

      My 20-30 is not totally rock-solid, but is based on those I have come across in all parts of the world who have a geology and make a living from it. Most work for creationist organisations eg Snelling, Garner, etc. There are probably more who have done geology almost to major standard. The main point is that YEC geologists of all sorts are far less than 1% of all old earth geologists. I hope that helps

      Recently, the Discovery Institute proudly announced that 1,000 scientists had signed its Statement of Dissent from Darwinism. “Scientist” is defined broadly, and the Statement itself runs:

      We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged. (So indeed it should!)

      This is a much weaker statement than outright rejection of evolution, let alone support for a young Earth. More can be found on this subject at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Scientific_Dissent_from_Darwinism

    About is not about science rather attacks on creationism. I have 2 PhD’s (Organic chemistry, Biochemistry). I am also a priest with 3 theological degrees. One can spend life time in science and still not scratch surface of understanding Creation unless the mind is opened. Science and evolution are diametrically opposed.
