Cuadrilla plans for Fylde causing fear and anxiety among locals, report finds

This shows how effective the disinformation and misinformation of campaigns like RAFF and the work of the “expert” Mike Hill (of profound geological knowledge) has been. If they were not so well versed in dissimulation there would not be a problem

It sounds as if noise may well be a nuisance and perhaps, indeed, a health problem. Any suggestions? Could drilling hours be limited? Also, is there any prospect of capturing rather than flaring gas?

Except when drilling the noise is lower than a transatlantic plane or a motel 400 yds from an Interstate as I discovered. Once fracking is done there is no noise or smell as I discovered in Pennsylvania. Gas may be flared during exploration but from then on CH4 will be collected and sold. In UK drilling is continuous but noise levels are not to bad at 400 yds. Fracking is noisy and restricted to daytime. I spoke to some in PA living 50 yds from a well. They weren’t bothered as it was very quiet and rural and no smell. I coveted their wallets though and suggest $30,000 per month.
